Wildlife Connections started their dolphin research program in Banderas Bay in 1998. For the last 20 years they’ve been studying a pod that lives solely in the bay. The pod is comprised of dolphins of all ages and when there are juveniles around it is very likely you’ll get to swim and play with them! Swimming with wild dolphins rather than confined dolphins is a great way to show your support for keeping dolphins safe and happy in their natural environment.
Upon arrival to the Marina, you'll be served a light continental breakfast. Meanwhile, your guide will give you an introduction to the dolphins in Puerto Vallarta and other wildlife in the bay before heading out. We'll spend the next few hours searching for the dolphin pod, taking fantastic photos of wildlife and hopefully getting to play with them in the water! While there is never 100% guarantee the dolphins will be in the mood to play, this tour does guarantee you’ll get a chance to see the pod up close. There is even a hydrophone aboard the boat so that you can hear the dolphins!
