Departures: Monday through Saturday on your schedule from Riviera Maya hotels between Punta Maroma to the North, and Puerto Aventuras to the South. Park opens at 8:30am and closes at 9:00pm. Hotels to the North of Punta Maroma and the south of Puerto Aventuras are subject to extra time and fuel surcharge fees.

• Light layers & comfortable walking shoes for exploring Xel Ha by land.
• Secure sandals or water shoes for exploring the Mayan cenotes and Xel Ha beaches if you do not wish to walk barefoot around the park

• Camera (waterproof if you have it, or a waterproof smart phone case)

Children: All ages welcome. Kids under 5 are free! Kids ages 5-11 pay discounted kids pricing. Please note, children over 4’5” (137cm) who are under 12 years old will be required to present ID proving their age.

Cruise Ship Passengers: You can visit Xel Ha, but there are so many things to explore at Xel Ha, we do not suggest it If you are in a rush to make it back to your ship. Honestly, there is too much to do at Xel Ha itself to fit into a one-day shore excursion. So, we suggest you book your next vacation to one of the amazing Riviera Maya resorts so you can maximize your Xel Ha experience.

Restrictions: Access to the park is available to all and Xel Ha offers services for guests with disabilities throughout the park. Foldable wheelchairs are admitted on the transportation so long as we are advised in advance and you are traveling with a companion. Keep in mind however that many of the optional activities require good physical health and mobility. The park is very vast and there is a lot to explore even if you do not participate in everything however.
