Departures: Monday through Saturday on your schedule from Riviera Maya hotels between Punta Maroma to the North, and Puerto Aventuras to the South. Park opens at 8:30am and closes at 9:00pm. Hotels to the North of Punta Maroma and the south of Puerto Aventuras are subject to extra time and fuel surcharge fees.

Private Transfers to Xcaret Park from Riviera Maya Hotels Recommendations:

• Light layers & comfortable walking shoes for exploring Xcaret by land
• Secure sandals or water shoes for exploring the Mayan cenotes and Xcaret beaches if you do not wish to walk barefoot around the park
• Secure bathing suit to participate in the variety of water activities at Xcaret
• Camera (waterproof if you have it, or a waterproof smart phone case)
• Biodegradable sunblock or UV protective clothing (No other sunblock will be permitted for the protection of the delicate environment, and they will check your bags. If you forget, you can purchase at the front gate)
• Eco friendly insect repellent (only for after all the swimming activities)
• Picture ID, room key, or $20 deposit (REQUIRED) for locker rentals
• Extra cash or credit card for entry to Xcaret park, souvenirs, tips, professional photos, and any optional activities available at Xcaret (there are ATMs available on site)
• Please note, children over 4’5” (137cm) who are under 12 years old will be required to present ID proving their age.

Cruise Ship Passengers: We know, Xcaret park is on everyone’s bucket list of things to do in the Riviera Maya, but there are so many things to explore at Xcaret, we do not suggest it If you are in a rush to make it back to your ship. Honestly, there is too much to do at Xcaret itself to fit into a one-day shore excursion. So, we suggest you book your next vacation to one of the amazing Riviera Maya resorts so you can maximize your Xcaret experience.

Restrictions: Access to the park is available to all and Xcaret offers services for guests with disabilities throughout the park. Foldable wheelchairs are admitted on the transportation so long as we are advised in advance and you are traveling with a companion. Keep in mind however that many of the optional activities require good physical health and mobility. The park is very vast and there is a lot to explore even if you do not participate in everything however.

Optional activities have additional restrictions depending the activity.

Insider Tip: Spring for the Xcaret Plus so you do not have to worry about carrying around cash with you while you are exploring the park. The park is HUGE, so you may have to back track a long way to your locker to grab money for lunch. It is nice not to have to worry about paying extras for things like snorkel gear rental as well.
