Since this is a private tour, you can set the schedule and even visit a Mayan village and swim in a cenote if you wish. You’ll feel like a VIP for the day when you go on this Tulum Coba tour.
You’ll start your tour with a bang at the Tulum Mayan ruins. This walled fortress by the sea is a stunning example of ancient Mayan architecture. It’s amazing how the ancient Mayans built the city on a cliff, and the location provides impressive views of the sea below. You can get even closer to the sea by walking down to the Tulum ruins beach. While some Tulum excursions rush you in and out, this one provides ample time for lounging among the sand and surf. That’s yet another benefit of choosing a private Tulum tour.
A trip to the Coba Mayan ruins will be next on your list. This ancient city sits in the middle of the jungle. You can explore the Coba Mayan village and view the ruins. Climbing the Coba pyramid is the highlight of this trip. It’s rare to get a chance to climb an ancient ruin, so grab your opportunity on this Coba tour. You’ll also want to visit the ball court, walk through the tunnels, and more. With so much to see, consider renting a bike for the Coba ruins tour. You can even hire a pedicab if you don’t feel like peddling during your private Coba adventure.
If you’re searching for private Riviera Maya tours that pack in lots of culture, you’re sure to love the Tulum Coba tour. You will get to explore the Tulum and Coba ruins on your schedule, and you can do it for less when you book with us. Grab your tickets today, so you can save on this adventure.

Insider Tip: The Tulum Ruins are very impressive, but the site isn’t as large as, say, Chichen Itza. You can easily explore Tulum in less than an hour if you would like to spend more time at Coba or stop at a cenote during your trip. Or, bring a bathing suit and jump into the dazzling blue Caribbean below.
Both Coba and Tulum are very family friendly ruins sites. We think this is a great way to introduce your kids to the Mayan pyramids. The drive between the two sites breaks things up a bit. And since this is a private service, you have a lot of flexibility to work around the whims of your kids.
At Coba, You can hire a private guide at the entrance for about $30.00 for a 45 minute private tour. You can also hire a pedicab to take you around for $10.00usd or rent a bicycle for $3.50usd. Renting your own bike is a blast, but if you have younger kids, spring for the pedicab.
Groups: If you have a larger group size, contact us for a customized quote. We have vehicles of all sizes available.
Important Note: If you bring a video camera you will need to pay the government video tax of $3.50usd at each location.
