Private Coba Mayan Ruins Half Day Tour Includes:

Children: All ages welcome. For valid insurance coverage, all children must be accounted for in your party (example, if you have 8 passengers plus one child, you must upgrade to the larger 9-passenger van). Free car seats are available for children 0-5 years old, just make sure to let us know if you need one under the ‘special requests’ section of your shopping cart.

Restrictions: Foldable wheel chairs are accepted in all vehicles so long as you have an accompanying guest to assist. Vans with wheelchair ramps are available although prices may vary. Contact us for a quote!

Insider Tip: The hidden city of Coba is one of the lesser visited of all the Mayan ruins, so you will find it to be free from crowds most of the time. It is also cool that you can just rent a bike and explore on your own. The highlight of Coba is it’s 138 foot tall Mayan pyramid called Nohoch Mul (or Ixmoja) that you can actually climb. The view is amazing but the steps are steep and narrow. Needless to say, not great for those that tend to get vertigo climbing ladders. There are 120 steps to the top, and the pyramid is just 138 feet. So each step is nearly a foot high! It’s the original Thighmaster.

You can hire a private guide at the entrance for about $30.00 for a 45 minute private tour. You can also hire a pedicab to take you around for $10.00usd or rent a bicycle for $3.50usd.

Groups: If you have a larger group, let us know and we can get you a quote for a motor coach vehicle.
