The popular surf town of Sayulita put surfing in Puerto Vallarta on the map. However, if you ask the locals, surfing Punta Mita or San Pancho is really where the best waves are at. In Punta Mita, surf spots like Veneros, Burros, Lancha (Pangas), Anclote, Faro & Bahia stretch from La Cruz to Punta Mita and provide waves for all skill sets. Your instructor will consult the waves & asses your skill level and decide on the best surf spot for you.

Puerto Vallarta Surf Lesson Includes:
Departures: Departs daily at 9:00am. Meeting location is at tour offices downtown Puerto Vallarta. You’ll receive exact meeting instructions on your confirmation voucher.
Length: Approximately 5 hours including transportation. Surf lessons average about 3 hours total depending the client.
Puerto Vallarta Surf Lesson Recommendations:
Children: Not recommended for children under 7 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult and have good swimming skills.
Cruise Ship Passengers: Learning to surf is a fantastic Puerto Vallarta shore excursion! You can even get pick-up and drop-off just outside the cruise ship terminal included in your price. Times can be adjusted to fit your cruise itinerary.
Restrictions: Not recommended for those who are not experienced swimmers or are uncomfortable in the water. We highly recommend participants be in good physical condition to surf in Puerto Vallarta.
