Hop aboard an ATV or Viking UTV and then fly past quaint villages and traverse jungle trails. Each trail gets a little bit wilder than the last one, so get ready to test your driving skills — and floor the gas! This is an adventure to remember!


Some ATV tours in Puerto Vallarta take you to the same old sights, but this one is different. Your guide has organized different stops for you to enjoy as you drive through the trails and up the mountain. First, you’ll stop at a unique jungle bar, where you can enjoy a drink and take a swim at the base of a waterfall. Then, your Puerto Vallarta ATV jungle tour will continue, as you climb further and further up the mountain. You’ll finally come to a plateau, where you can observe wildlife. You might even see a Macaw parrot or two.

When you finish observing the wildlife, it’ll be time for your Puerto Vallarta Waterfall Quest Viking or ATV Tour to switch gears. You’ll learn how tequila is made and you’ll enjoy some samples!     ATV Waterfall Quest Includes:

    Departures: Runs twice daily at 9:30am and 1:30pm from our tour office (a few minutes from downtown; exact instructions will be on your confirmation voucher).

    Length: Approximately 3.5 hours

    ATV Waterfall Quest Recommendations:

    • Light clothes and sunglasses
    • Camera
    • Bio-degradable sunblock
    • Mandatory driver’s license or permit, and credit or debit card for safety deposit

    Children: Minimum age is 9 years old. Children and teenagers up until 15 years old must ride with a parent or guardian.

    Cruise Ship Passengers: This is the perfect shore excursion for cruise passengers! Your cruise ship terminal is in the middle of the city but the pride and glory of Puerto Vallarta is out south, in our oceanside lush tropical jungle and native villages.

    Restrictions: Pregnant women and guests with mobility issues cannot participate in the excursion. Driver’s must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license or permit. A credit or debit card is mandatory at check-in for damage warranty.

    Insider Tip: We suggest the early morning schedule so you can hit downtown after the tour! Los Muertos beach is a short 10-minute taxi ride away. You can have a swim and if you have some spare time, take a stroll down Vallarta’s famous Malecon. You can take some pictures down at the pier, or buy some souvenirs and tasty local snacks.
