Children: All ages welcome on the private snorkeling cruise in Puerto Vallarta. If you are traveling with toddlers, we recommend you bring your own appropriately sized life vest with you on your trip to Puerto Vallarta.
Insider Tip: This option is great for big families, celebrations, and even spring break trips on spacious boats. You have the flexibility to tailor your tour itinerary, whether heading south from Los Arcos to Animas, Quimixto, or Yelapa, or north towards Marietas Island.
Notes for Yelapa and Quimitxo: In Puerto Vallarta, the waterfalls at Quimixto and Yelapa change size with the seasons. They're stunning in the rainy season but less so in the dry season.
Please note that the horses and mules in Quimixto are small and owned by a local ranch, not us. You can rent them, but they may not meet North American standards.
In Yelapa, we suggest walking to the waterfall instead of using mules. Or, if you prefer, skip the waterfall and enjoy more time exploring Yelapa or relaxing on the beach.
Notes For Marietas: Marietas Island marine park fee: 110pesos p/p.
You may be asked to leave either a room key, your ID, or 200 pesos as a security deposit for the snorkeling equipment. The water at the Marietas Islands may be a few degrees cooler than sites closer to shore. Something to keep in mind in the winter and spring months.
Hidden Beach is no longer available for large boats, this is because the local environmental bureau is restricting access to all visitors, due to the reported damage to the area. Tours will continue to go to Marietas Islands, but no longer visiting Hidden Beach. While access to Hidden Beach is now restricted, the tour is being offered as it has been for several years.
Cruise Ship Passengers: Departing from the cruise ship port, the tour is conveniently situated just a few minutes away on foot. Customize your own itinerary, from 4, 6, up to 8 hours!
