This lesser explored dive site in Puerto Vallarta has both shallow and deep dives ranging from 7 to 14 meters (25 to 45ft) perfect for all skill levels. Garden eels are the highlight of this dive site, but the shallow coral reef and rock formations are home to a variety of tropical fish. You can spot parrot fish, pufferfish, damsels, angelfish, trumpet fish, sea cucumbers, and sea turtles! If you diving Majahuitas between the end of November and mid-March, you may be able to see a humpback whales and giant manta rays.

Majahuitas & Los Arcos Scuba Puerto Vallarta Tour Details
Scuba Diving Los Arcos & Majahuitas Includes:
Departures: 9:00 AM Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from our Puerto Vallarta dive shop in Marina Vallarta. Meeting time is 30 minutes prior to departure. Pick up from the Paradise Village Marina in Nuevo Vallarta at 8:00am is available for an additional fee of 50 pesos per person each way.
Length: Approximately 4 Hours.
Scuba Diving Los Arcos & Majahuitas Recommendations:
Cruise Ship Passengers: If you are an avid diver, then scuba diving Los Arcos Marin Park is a must. Since Los Arcos is close, the tour only takes about 4 hours so you will arrive back in plenty of time. If in doubt, contact one of our Activities Specialists and they can recommend the best dive for your cruise itinerary.
Restrictions: Must have Open Water Certification and dives logged within the year. If you are certified but you have not logged any dives within the year, you may be required to take a refresher course prior. Let us know and we can arrange this for you.
Insider Tip: The shallow dives at Los Arcos and Majahuitas allow for some fantastic underwater photography opportunities so be sure to bring along your dive-worthy cameras if you have one!
