The Dolphin Encounter takes place on a shallow platform created for young families with children who do not yet swim. You will be in the water interacting with our friendly dolphins, but not actually swimming. The dolphin kids program is perfect, even your one-year-old can be a part of the fun! Your dolphin encounter will include 40 minutes of getting to know our friendly dolphins and observing their behaviors.

Dolphin Encounter + Aquaventuras Water Park Tour Includes:
Departures: Aquaventuras Water Park in Nuevo Vallarta. Dolphin Encounter operates 4 Times Daily at 10:00am, 11:15am, 1:45pm and 3:00pm.
Length: 1 Hour (Introduction + 40 minutes in Pool) + Aquaventuras Water Park (open 10:00am to 5:00pm daily except Monday).
Dolphin Encounter + Aquaventuras Water Park Recommendations:
Children: Kids are welcomed from age 1 so long as they are able to fit safely in the infant life vests, and all children under 3 feet tall are free when accompanied by an adult. Discounted Children’s pricing for children under 4 feet tall accompanied by a paying adult (18+).
Restrictions: Women who are more than 5 months pregnant are not allowed to participate in dolphin activities. Women who are under 5 months can participate in the Dolphin Encounter program, however they will need to be accompanied by another adult and agree to and sign a consent form prior to entering the water.
Insider Tip: For those timid of the water or a bit shy about getting in the water with the dolphins, the Encounter is the perfect choice for an introduction dolphin swim. Also, this is typically a once in a lifetime experience so we highly recommend springing for the photos…you do not want to regret it later if you don’t.
