Culture is first on the menu on this Cozumel dune buggy tour. Your guide will take you to the San Gervasio Mayan ruins in Cozumel, where you'll explore an ancient Mayan village. This village is dedicated to Ixchel, the Mayan goddess of love and fertility. In ancient times, Mayan women visited the village to pay tribute to this important goddess. Today, people hop on dune buggies for their chance to get up close to this archeological site. Bring your camera along to snap some pics, so you can share the imagery with your friends.
Make sure you put that camera away for the next part of your adventure. You'll hop aboard your dune buggy and hit the jungle trails! It's hard to snap pictures when you're bumping, jumping, and navigating ramps, mud, and watery holes, so put your hands on the wheel and get moving! Shift up and down as you fly through this terrain on your way to the exclusive Las Uvas beach club. Get there fast – marine life is waiting.
After you make it your destination, throw on your snorkel gear and dive deep below the surface of the club's Marine National Park, where you will encounter the second-largest barrier reef on the globe. Cruise Ship Passengers: This activity is perfect for most cruise itineraries. Pick-up is available from all three major cruise terminals. Be sure to include which ship you're arriving in and the meeting instructions will be provided on your voucher.
Restrictions: Must present valid driver's license or permit. Pregnant women or guests with mobility issues are not allowed to participate.
Insider Tip: Although these are standard vehicles, on some days, the possibility of switching to an automatic ATV during the off-road portion exists (upon request). If you're traveling in a group and someone doesn't know how to drive stick shift, give us a call and ask if there are automatic ATVs available mid-ride on the day that you're in town. We'll do our best to arrange something for you!

IMPORTANT!!! Help save the reefs! Due to the White Band Disease that has recently been observed in Cozumel's coral systems, we no longer recommend sunscreen. If using, please make sure that it's bio-degradable and apply at least 30 minutes before entering the ocean.
