YOU'RE JUST A CLICK AWAY
Are you searching for unique Cabo eco-tours? Look no further than the Cabo Sea Turtle Release excursion. You’ll head to the beach and watch newborn turtles make the trek to the water for the first time. It’s incredible to see how they are drawn to the water, and nothing is as cute as watching the first swim and dive. And this isn’t just a visual experience. A marine biologist will explain turtle nesting season and why it’s important to protect the eggs and help the turtles make it to the water.
During the Cabo Sea Turtle Release tour, you will see the result of the nesting season, but to fully appreciate it, you need to back up a bit. Each year, turtles head to the shore in Cabo to lay eggs. Unlike most marine and wildlife, turtles won’t put their eggs just anywhere. They go back to where they were born. The eggs are sometimes relocated for protection. At the very least, the eggs are protected from people and wildlife.
It’s not unusual for a nest to have as many as 100 eggs in it, so you can expect to see lots of turtles when you attend the Cabo Sea Turtle Release excursion. It takes about 45 days for the eggs to hatch. Since nesting season runs for several months, the turtle release lasts for several months as well.
This is unlike any of the other eco-tours in Cabo San Lucas. Also, because it is only available for part of the year, it can sell out quickly. Reserve your spot so you can attend the Cabo Sea Turtle Release excursion.
