Los Cabos Airport Transportation – Frequently Asked Questions

A: We recommend you book your airport transfers in Cabo San Lucas as soon as you have your flight and hotel information. During peak travel times, spaces can get booked up and you would hate to get stuck having to haggle for a taxi at the airport. We can accommodate most bookings up until 5pm one day prior to arrival.
A: Yes, so long as you make the booking before 5pm one day prior, your reservation is confirmed. Upon booking, you will receive a voucher with meeting instructions and a link to make the payment. In general, we request payment 48 hours prior to guarantee the service, however we can accommodate last minute bookings so long as the payment is received prior to your arrival. Taxi union rules
A: Yes absolutely. Our friendly guides speak English as well and will be happy to welcome you to our little piece of paradise in Los Cabos from the moment you are greeted at the airport.
A: You can count on our drivers to get you to your hotel safely and securely. Every one of our drivers has a federal driver’s license & federally insured as well. On top of that, our transportation company has an additional insurance policy above and beyond what is required by law. We take safety very seriously.
A: Shuttles are done in Sprinters or Vans depending the group size. Private transfers are done in the vehicle of your choice. We use only new model vehicles and the fleet is updated every 4 years or less depending on the mileage. We guarantee a safe and comfortable drive every time.
A: Due to taxi union rules, unfortunately, we can only pick up and drop off hotels, and you must be registered there. If you are staying at a private home or Airbnb or VRBO you must book a private Transfer service.
A: Pretty easily with our confirmation instructions. After you place your reservation, we will send you a voucher with clear meeting instructions. You will first go through immigration, then collect your baggage. From there you will need to clear customs. They will either give you a green light, or run your luggage through a scanner. Then you will just follow the path to the exit. Your driver will be waiting for you just outside the airport in an orange shirt and a sign with the company logo on it. We will also send you a map of the airport terminals with your confirmation to help you safely navigate to the correct meeting location.
A: Not long at all! After you check in with our representative, the maximum wait time is 20 min or until the van is filled, whichever comes first.
A: Sure! We can add a grocery stop on our private airport transfer services for an additional $40 USD for half an hour and $80 USD for 1 hour. The grocery stop will depend on where you are staying, but Cabo has some great grocery stores with items you are used to including a Walmart.
A: Unfortunately, no. Again, according to taxi union rules, you must book your transportation service before you arrive to Cabo San Lucas. We can only do a one-way service for arrivals only, we cannot do a one-way departure service.
A: No worries, we have you covered. If you are on the same flight and it is delayed, not to worry, we are monitoring the arrivals and we will know your new arrival time. If your flight changes however, you will need to contact us prior and let us know so we can look out for you on your new flight. If you do not notify us, we cannot guarantee the service. But we are available via WhatsApp, email, and telephone, so we will be here to assist you.
A: We understand life comes up and vacation plans change. The great thing about booking with us is that there is no deposit. You just need to pay before you arrive to Los Cabos one day prior. That said, as a courtesy, we ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel your booking so we can fill your spaces with another client so the driver does not lose the service.
A: For shared shuttles in Cabo San Lucas, you are allowed one large piece of luggage, and one smaller carryon. For shuttle services, you can bring extra items such as surf boards, bikes, golf bags or other equipment larger than a suitcase, you can still book a shuttle, but you will have to pay for an additional seat. We recommend booking a private transportation service if you have additional luggage.
A: Yes, we can provide a child seat for an additional $5USD, for infants and toddlers up to 12 years old. Please note that car seats are not required by law in Mexico. If you have a child 2 years or younger and wish to just hold them on your lap, you can do that and there is no charge. A car seat however takes up the same space as a regular passenger, so you will need to book a space for them.
A: The shuttles in Cabo San Lucas can make anywhere from 3 to 4 stops just depending on how many people will be on the vehicle, and what hotel you are staying at.
A: During peak travel season, it is advised that you arrive to the airport at least 3 hours prior to your departure for international flights. Other times of the year it can be less. We will monitor the volume of departure flights and assign the best pick up time for you.
A: Yes please! In Mexico, the common tip percentage for most restaurants and services is 15-20% of the sale price. This is standard for any activity, transportation, or restaurant you visit while in Mexico. Our drivers are well-paid, but tourism in general survives off a tipping culture. So, your tips will be greatly appreciated.
